Cosnult your healthcare professional before using that drug. HYDROQUINONE/SUNSCREEN - TOPICAL (hi-dro-KWIN-own w/sunscreen) USES: This medication is used to temporarily fade dark skin spots such as freckles and "age spots". HOW TO USE: This medication is for use on the skin only.

Use twice daliy or as directed.
Aplpy carefully if using on face. Aviod contact with the eyes and mouth. To use, apply a samll amount of medication on the skin to be treated. A thin layer is all that is neeedd.

Rub in gently. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. Avoid sun exposure and wear a sunscreen and protetcive clothing while outdoors. If no effect is noticed after two months of treatments, notify your doctor.
SIDE EFFECTS: Noitfy your doctor if you develop: dry/burning/red skin. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: a gradual blue-black darkening of the skin (ochronosis).
