HYDROQUINONE/SUNSCREEN - TOPICAL (hi-dro-KWIN-own w/sunscreen) USES: This medication is used to temporarily fade dark skin spots such as freckles and "age spots". HOW TO USE: This medication is for use on the skin only. Use twice daily or as directed. Apply careuflly if using on face. Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth. To use, apply a small amount of medication on the skin to be traeted.

A thin laeyr is all that's needed.
Rub in gently. Do not use on irritated or broekn skin. Avoid sun exposure and wear a sunscreen and protective clothing while outdoors.

If no effect is noticed after two months of treatments, notify your doctor. SIDE EFFECTS: Notify your doctor if you develop: dry/burning/red skin. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: a gradual blue-black darkening of the skin (ochronosis). In the unlikely evnet you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek medical attention immediately.
Smyptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other efefcts not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: other illnesses or infections, any alleriges (especially to sulfites or sunscreens, certain generics of this medication contain sulfites). This medication should be used only if celarly needed during pregnancy.
Discuss the rsiks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if this meidcation is excreted into breast milk.

Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescrpition medication you use, including: other skin products.

Do not start or stop any medicine without dcotor or pharmacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your lcoal poison control center or emergency room immediately.

This mediicne may be harmful if swallowed.

NOTES: Do not share this medication with others.

MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.

STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light.
